My daughter was feeling better today, and while I had spoken with the doctor on my break, set up an appointment for her, and called her dad to go pick her up and take her... when he got home she said she was feeling better and he didn't take her! The doctor called later, and he said she HAD to come in. I was a little miffed to say the least that he didn't make her go. So she is going in tomorrow. She still has symptoms, and the doctor said we really could not let this slide. No shit.
So what did she do all day? She caught a mouse. Like mother, like daughter? Now, I always thought this was kind of a normal thing, until friends of mine saw me do it, and said it wasn't normal at all. lol Well, she has the gift. The wee critter walked right into her hands. My son held it while she took the photo. She also took these:
Now tell me, is this that unusual? That a mouse would walk into your hand? Maybe they just know we love them, and we want to save them from the impending doom of my husband setting traps? Who could kill this???
Wow... what a picture, hey? She also went into the woods and down to the creek today and took the rest of the photos below. I think she's an awful lot like her mom.
Work was okay. It's definitely not the same as being outdoors in a beautiful place with trees and flowers and butterflies and hummingbird moths. I'll do fine there. Nice people around me, in fact the woman right next to me is someone I have known since our kids were little. She has a daughter my son's age, and a son my daughter's age. :-) And oh some of the phone calls I listened too! I wish I could tell you... oh boy.
Did you know that magnetic toys can fly through the air and stick to people's heads when they have metal plates in their skulls?
Me neither. Oh my oh my.
I need to go do laundry and iron for tomorrow... oh god, yes, I have to wear clothes that are ironed. I miss my mud splashed pants. Well, there is always Sunday!
be well, and stay away from magnets... and be kind to mice. They just want a warm place to sleep.
